Latest Updates For October 5th, 2024!

I know, I know, 8 whole MONTHS since the last update!

Yes, it's been a while, but I'm back with exciting news from the BattleRaven front! Here's what's been happening over the past few months.

As I previously mentioned, I hired an artist via Fiverr to create an 8-page black-and-white (digital) preview with a color cover. This preview was designed to provide an overview of the BattleRaven concept—a brief rundown of his origin, powers, abilities, and what makes this superhero truly stand out. It was intended to give potential backers a taste of what BattleRaven is all about.

By late August, I received 8 rough pages, and let me tell you—Tyler Davis did a STELLAR job! The sketches really captured the essence of the character and his world. Unfortunately, due to personal issues and scheduling conflicts, Tyler was unable to continue with the project. Life happens, right?

But there's good news! I managed to get the full-color cover completed by the incredibly talented Reda D—and as you can see above, it turned out amazing! Whether or not this will end up being the final cover for BattleRaven #0 remains to be seen, but for now, I'm thrilled with how it looks.

Given the circumstances, instead of releasing the original 8-page digital preview, I've decided to return to my initial plan: crowdfunding. I'll be launching campaigns on Kickstarter, Indiegogo, and GoFundMe very soon. Stay tuned for updates!

In the meantime, I've put together a short promotional video that features both the new cover and the rough sketches of the pages originally intended for the preview. It's a little glimpse into what's to come, and I hope you enjoy it!
